In 2018, Bekantan Pictures was established as one of the brands of PT Bekantan Rumah Produksi that focus on film and IP development. After producing two short films in Australia, Bekantan Pictures finally produced its first short film in Indonesia. 

“Golden Frames in the Closet” marks its debut in Indonesia and has won in Minikino Film Week 2020 as well as nominated as one of the best short films in Indonesia Film Festival 2020 (FFI 2020). Bekantan Pictures strives to embrace inspiring stories, that appeal and accessible to both the Indonesian and international market.
